- 1830s – People who had been driven out of other churches for the exercise of “spiritual gifts” gathered around Reverend Edward Irving of the National Scotch Church
- 1833 – Reverend Edward Irving is excommunicated from the National Scotch Church and restarts meetings in a hired hall in London, many of his original congregation followed him and from this congregation emerged the Catholic Apostolic Church (also known as Irvingites)
- 1863 – “angel” Friedrich Wilhelm Schwartz and his Hamburg congregation are expelled in writing from the Catholic Apostolic Church (Hamburg schism) and start a new church, Allgemeine Apostolische Mission (later to become the New Apostolic Church)
- 1878 – “prophet” Heinrich Geyer leaves the Allgemeine christliche Apostolische Mission and starts a new congregation, Apostolische Mission, which wasted away in 1896
- 1902 – “elder” Julius Fischer breaks away from the Apostolic Mission Church and forms his own church called Apostelamt Juda (later to become the Apostelamt Jesu Christi)
- 1915 – “apostle” Carl Klibbe severs all connections with the New Apostolic Church and becomes the Old Apostolic Church of Africa in 1927
- 1925 – “apostle” Heinrich Velde leaves Carl Klibbe’s movement and starts the Apostolic Church
- 1968 – “apostle” Jim Scotch Ndlovu leaves the Old Apostolic Church and starts the Twelve Apostles Church of Africa
- 1972 – “apostle” Robert William Lombard leaves the Old Apostolic Church and starts the Non-White Old Apostolic Church (later to become the Reformed Old Apostolic Church)
This appears
to be another example of the pot calling the kettle black.
1 Corinthians 12:24-25 For
our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having
given more abundant honour to that part which lacked: That there should be no
schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for
another.

John 3:16-21 For
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not
his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him
might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that
believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of
the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come
into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds
were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to
the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to
the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

WARNING:
THIS CONTAINS GRAPHIC CONTENT THAT MAY UPSET SOME STAUNCH OAC MEMBERS!
Concerning your hidden warning at the end of your articles. Those that are only readable if highlighted, I must refer you to Mark 16: 18.
ReplyDelete"They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover."
If you read that verse again in the correct context you’ll notice that Jesus was speaking about the “great commission”. For your convenience I will share those verses for your perusal again:
DeleteMark 16:14-20 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen. And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
You’ll notice that when read in the correct context, there is no mention of hidden warnings.
